Kasutamiseks murra aroomivahatahvlist 1-2 tükki, aseta need aroomilambi nõusse ja süüta nõu all olev küünal. Põleta küünalt kuni aroomivaha on täielikult sulanud ja soovitud kogus aroomi on täitnud toa.
Lihtsaks aroomivaha vahetamiseks aseta aroomilamp korraks külmkappi, siis tuleb vaha kergemini lahti.
